Debra Messing is probably best known for her role as Grace on televisions' "Will & Grace." Most recently, Messing completed a co-starring role in Woody Allen’s “Celebrity,” having been handpicked by the director for the part. Messing has appeared in many other films, including her role opposite Keanu Reeves in “A Walk in the Clouds” and opposite Tom Arnold and Tim Curry in “McHale’s Navy.”
Upon graduating from Brandeis University, Messing was accepted into New York University's Elite Graduate Acting Program and received her Masters of fine arts degree three years later. Messing's talents were quickly noticed when she received praise for her performance in the pre-Broadway workshop of the Tony Award-winning play “Angels in America: Perestroika.” Messing went on to play the role of Cecily in “The Importance of Being Earnest,” and she appeared in other productions such as, “Four Dogs and a Bone,” “The Naked Truth” and “Collected Stories,” which was chosen as a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize.
Messing’s career soon succeeded on television, where she starred for two seasons as Stacey in the comedy “Ned & Stacey.” She also had a recurring role on “NYPD Blue,” and she starred in the drama series “Prey” and the television movie, “Jesus.” Messing currently plays the interior... Next
