Naomi Judd

Rising from humble, small town beginnings to superstar status, Naomi Judd has become known as the Cinderella of country music. With her daughter Wynonna, she created the popular singing duo, The Judds. Six-time Grammy-winners, The Judds remained undefeated for eight consecutive years at all three major country award shows until 1990 when Naomi' singing career was cut short by a potentially life-threatening disease. She retired after her 1991 sold-out farewell concert tour and focused on her recovery. She has authored three books including her best-selling autobiography Love Can Build A Bridge. She is one of the world's most admired women, earning the title, "star next door".
