The Grammy Awards, The American Music Awards, Christmas In Washington, CBS’s “A Song From the Heart,” and she hosted the CBS “A Christmas to Remember” special. Most recently, in 2001, Grant was honored as the Nashvillian of the Year for her leadership in philanthropic causes, such as the American Red Cross, the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, and the Nashville Symphony. Grant also participates in Nashville's Leadership Music Program and meets with terminally ill children as part of the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
After 25 years of recording music, Grant remains true to herself and the faith that has sustained her. Most recently, Grant has released a new album, her 17th, entitled “Legacy: Hymns and Faith.” The release of “Legacy” marks the beginning of Word Record’s yearlong celebration of Grant’s 25 years in music.
